the bed was lovely, so at night i slept well. a few steps away from whispers wine bar, where you can have lunch. useful base for a city break in halstead.

The location was particularly good and fantastic very close to town centre & local attractions, better than we ever had before. And it was also close enough to restaurants, a traditional pub where the landlord and customers were really friendly, and bars.

The room we stayed in had a beautifully decorated grey bathroom and cozy beds. the staff was incredibly welcoming and always pleasant. the location of the property was lovely and convenient, especially for those arriving by train.

The small rooms, poor shower. Cracked sink. Hot tap not working for sink. The layout of the room and how cramped it was in the toilet.

Staff very friendly and made to feel welcome
The room was very poor and was very expensive for the facilities offered.Used to stay here years ago and thought the standards would have remained high especially because of the price.

Cobwebs, that must have been there 12 months, only 1 mug, no coffee, no toilet roll, had take pinch a roll from the down stairs toilets.
